Photography is the language I use to write about the world and to the world. My style, subject, and message are shaped by those who have overlapped their lives with mine. As they leave behind a small mark of something I find to love, it becomes something to put in my work. In navigating our lives, we search for ways to find the comfort of understanding. If our experiences can be explained by composition, artistry, and all the other elements of this art, then maybe we both have been photographers for our whole lives.

Hello! I'm Sarah Qu, a passionate photographer dedicated to capturing experiences and feelings that words cannot justify. I have loved the artistry behind visual storytelling for as long as I remember, and I hope to connect with others through what I capture and see. I am currently a student at Indiana University doing freelance work and work for the Office of Student Life Marketing.
